I enjoyed my stay with a comfortable bed and a cozy lounge area that made relaxing easy. the lack of a kettle in the room and limited breakfast options, like no fresh fruit or cereal, were minor inconveniences. it’s a great spot for a short getaway.

    decent breakfast
    limited options

Ideal choice for spending a night in Campsea Ashe with great value for the money. The breakfast was decent, though a bit limited in options. Just ask for a kettle in advance for your morning tea.

    stunning views
    historical charm
    lack storage
    deep pillows

spacious bathroom amenities, stunning views of the surrounding countryside, unique historical charm combined with modern updates

The lack of storage in the room left me frustrated while trying to unpack!!! Plus, those deep pillows were a disaster—more options would be nice!!! Oh, and let’s not forget the inconvenient parking situation!!!

    over-the-top response

Had a lovely stay in the Deluxe Suite, with a breakfast spread that could make your taste buds do a jig—full English or continental, your pick! Plus, our hosts were a delight and even pointed us to some cracking pubs like The Duck nearby.

it turned into an unexpected vent session from the host. A tad overwhelming, but all shiny stuff aside, I guess everyone has off days!

    comfortable bed
    delicious breakfast
    spacious suite
    limited storage

Had a lovely stay in a spacious standard suite with a comfortable bed. The breakfast spread featured local produce, offering delightful options like full English and continental favorites.

Some rooms lacked adequate storage space, with limited drawers and hangers, making it tricky for a longer stay. The heating was a bit off during my visit, causing the room to feel cool at times, and there were also no kettle facilities available for those morning brews. noise from swinging doors could be an annoyance, especially early mornings.
